Language

This site is served in 18 languages. Pick one and it stays with you — every page keeps its own address in that language, so you can link and bookmark it.

Choosing a language changes the interface everywhere and the long-form guides where a translation exists; anything not yet translated stays in English rather than disappearing, so a page is always readable. Your choice follows you around the site and survives a return visit. Each language has its own web address, so a page can be shared in the language you were reading it in.

What is translated
The interface — navigation, table headings, buttons, labels — is translated in every language listed. The long-form guides in the Learn library are translated language by language; where a translation is not in place yet the English text shows instead, so a page is always readable rather than half-empty. Nothing here is machine-translated on the fly: each translation is generated once, reviewed against the English, and stored.
One thing translation cannot change
Financial and tax material on this site describes United States rules. Translating the words does not change the jurisdiction: the tax treatment, account types and regulators described are American, whichever language you read them in.
