Planned — not available
Build Income
Marketplace
A place where readers will publish the prompts and agent workflows they use for income research, and other readers can run them. It is not built, it is not open, and there is nothing to buy or browse yet.
What it will be
The useful output of a research session is often not a number — it is the set of instructions that produced it. The question list you work through before you take a private note seriously. The way you make an AI assistant restate a fee schedule in plain English. The filter you run a long list of income securities through before you read any of them properly. Those instructions are reusable, and most people rebuild them from scratch every time.
The marketplace is intended to be where that work is published: a reader writes a prompt or an agent workflow, describes what it is for and what it deliberately ignores, and another reader runs it against their own sources. The unit is a piece of writing. It is text, versioned and attributed, that anyone can read before they run it.
The kinds of agents planned
Document drafters
Prompts that turn a pile of source material into a first draft of a working document: a summary of a fund's fee schedule, a plain-English rewrite of a lease clause, a one-page brief on how an instrument pays. A draft to check, never a filing to rely on.
PlannedDiligence checklists
Structured question lists for a specific instrument or deal type — what to look for in a BDC's non-accruals, which documents a private note should come with, what a syndication's operating agreement decides. Questions to ask, not conclusions to accept.
PlannedScreening prompts
Reusable instructions for narrowing a long list down to a short one against criteria you state out loud: payment frequency, coverage, distribution history, structure. A screen is a filter, not a verdict, and the criteria stay visible.
PlannedBriefing agents
Workflows that assemble a standing briefing from sources you choose — a rate recap, a filing digest, a what-changed note on a topic you follow — so the reading list is compiled the same way every time.
PlannedWhat it will not be
Worth stating plainly, before anything is built, because the word "marketplace" on a site about income invites exactly the wrong assumption:
- It will not be a marketplace for investments. No securities, fund interests, notes, partnership units or property stakes will be listed, offered or sold here.
- It will not touch anyone's money. No pooling, no capital raising, no custody, no payments between readers, no brokerage.
- It will not host advice. A published prompt is a tool for doing research, not a recommendation to buy, sell or allocate, and nothing on this site ever will be.
- It will not host performance claims. No income promises, no track records, no 'this returned X' listings, because a prompt has no return.
- It will not become a data feed. Prompts and workflows are text; the live numbers stay on the section pages, sourced and dated.
What exists today
The published, copyable version of this idea is already live — written by us, with its limits stated on each card.
The AI Agents page carries prompt cards you can copy into any assistant: research briefs, document drafts, diligence question lists and screening instructions, each with a note on what it is for and what it cannot do. The calculators run the arithmetic those prompts talk about — yield, ladder, cap rate, internal rate of return, covered-call income — entirely in your browser. The Learn library and the course cover the mechanics behind both.
Registering interest
If you would use a marketplace like this, or you have a view on how submissions should be reviewed, join the list with the signup form at the foot of this page — the same one used for the weekly income-rates digest. There is no separate marketplace form, no waiting list and no early-access tier, and this page stores nothing you do on it. Detailed thoughts are better sent through the contact page.
