Every way to earn passive income, in one place.

Dividends, bonds, preferred stocks, options premium, cash rates, private credit, real estate, royalties, international income, side hustles and digital businesses: how each one pays, what it pays today, and how it goes wrong. Research only. Never advice.

Today's income rates

The going rate on the safest income comes first, because everything else on this site is priced against it.

All rates →
3-month Treasury bill (discount basis) 4.05% Oct 08, 2026
Money market account (FDIC national average) 0.63% Sep 01, 2026
12-month CD (national average) 1.73% Sep 01, 2026
10-year Treasury 5.22% Oct 08, 2026
Investment-grade corporate bonds 5.94% Oct 08, 2026
High-yield corporate bonds 8.11% Oct 08, 2026

These are the rates on the plainest income there is: short-term government debt, the national average paid on insured bank deposits, and the average yield across corporate bonds. The site opens here because every other income on it is priced against these. When something pays noticeably more, the extra is payment for taking on something, such as a longer wait, a weaker borrower, or a payment somebody can cancel, and working out what that something is, is most of the job. Each figure is the latest observation its publisher released, with the date beside it, not a live market price.

Dividend payers on the radar

Large-cap dividend payers ranked by our research score. A screen, not a recommendation.

Open the screener →

A screen is a filter, not a verdict. Every row here is a large US company that already pays a dividend, ordered by a score this site computes from what has actually been paid, never from what anyone expects next. Read the yield knowing what it is: a payment divided by a price. It rises when the price falls, so a high number near the top of a list can be a company the market has marked down as easily as a generous one. Open a ticker to see the payment history the yield came from.

Ticker Company Price Forward yieldLatest payment, annualised, over today's price. Forward annual Pays
CMCSA Comcast Corporation $20.66 6.39% $1.32 Quarterly
AVA Avista Corporation $35.49 5.55% $1.97 Quarterly
VZ Verizon Communications Inc. $41.65 6.79% $2.83 Quarterly
OZK Bank OZK $44.41 4.32% $1.92 Quarterly
MKC McCormick & Company, Incorporated $44.81 4.28% $1.92 Quarterly
MO Altria Group, Inc. $71.68 6.19% $4.44 Quarterly
SR Spire Inc. $78.42 4.21% $3.30 Quarterly
WSBC WesBanco, Inc. $36.59 4.15% $1.52 Quarterly

Forward here means the last regular payment annualised by its cadence, over the latest price: an estimate of the next twelve months rather than cash already paid. Each security's own page also shows the trailing twelve-month figure, which will differ whenever a payment has changed in the last year. See how we compute these numbers.

How to read this site
Nothing on this site is investment advice, and no page here recommends buying or selling anything. We show how each income stream works, what it currently pays, what it costs, how it is taxed, and how it can go wrong. What you do with that is your call, ideally with a professional who knows your situation.
